Happy Holidays!!! It's hard to believe that we are getting close to winding down 2014. Since the next few weeks can be very busy I wanted to give you a heads up about a few events.
**We will be doing a $5 gift card exchange in class on Fri. Dec. 19th. Please send in a wrapped gift card in the amount of $5 (No extra please) by Thursday. Dec. 18th. Each student that participates will leave that day with a gift card. :)
**Our amazing Room Mom, Mrs. Mauzy will be doing a holiday craft project with the class starting next Monday (Dec. 15th). Each student needs to supply 300 sandwich style bags (the fold over type, not the zip top type). Information about this craft is coming home in the Tuesday folders today! Look for a letter from Mrs. Mauzy.
**6th Grade Holiday Park Day is Thursday, Dec. 18th. We will walk to Mountain Gate Park and be there for the day. You are welcome to join us at any time during the day. All students need to bring a sack lunch OR have lunch dropped off at the park for them (they may be begging you to do this! :) It's fun for you to come and have lunch too.)

We will be having a Thanksgiving feast lunch on Thursday, Nov. 20 at 12:00 in room 307!
We have MUCH to be thankful for this year and this is the perfect opportunity to be able to share with each other. :)

Turns out some friends didn't realize this weekend is a 4 day weekend! We have Monday & Tuesday off of school!
Game donations needed!
If you have any board games or playing cards laying around that you'd like to donate to our classroom, we'd LOVE to have them!!! Our field is getting an extreme makeover and recess time is rough since it is blacktop only. The kids would love to have some games to play!
